Cooperstand Pro Instrument Stands under the umbrella of Coopercopia LLC began business in Jan 1, 2010 with founders Daniel Cooper and Melanie Dyer. The company originated  in Nashville, TN and  is currently based out of Sisters, Oregon.  Shortly after coming on the market in 2010 Cooperstand Pro Instrument Stands won "Best of Show" in 2010 "Something Small" at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville. Cooperstand led the way in innovation in foldable guitar stands.George Hines from George's Music recognized this innovation and this patent owned by Coopercopia LLC and made the nomination.
